Dear in Christ Woodlands Academy Alumni,
It has been quite a while since you left Ireland and your last and final departure from Woodlands Academy.
As you may know already, during the past number of months the Woodlands Alumni has been getting together to remember the good times spent at the Academy. They have gone together to missions; they have met in the Friendship Tournament and the Oak Alumni Gala Night.
I would like to invite you to participate in the next activity at Woodlands Academy which will be taking place in the month of July. It is called ‘M.A.D. (Make a Difference) Leadership Programme’ and it is an Get Together of former Woodlands Academy students – for the 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 generations (you must be 16 or older) It is a great opportunity for you to meet with old friends, to reminisce the good times you shared at the Academy and to have a new experience in the Academy to keep forming yourself.
Your participation in the M.A.D. Leadership Programme could be your first opportunity to experience responsibility, as you would be helping to monitor our summer camp students (Woodlands Camp). You will be participating in their daily life and outings; and you will be constantly challenged to give your insight into the organisation of the girls’ activities to make the camp more enriching. As you have been a student here before, we value your ideas.
There are special activities planned for you every week, separate from the summer camp group. These activities will benefit your own formation and integration.
Unfortunately, we are only able to receive a certain number of former students. The group is limited to 10 people.
