Our education is rooted in the living Catholic tradition of academic excellence, personal integrity, high moral standards and a spirit of service to others. It aims to offer each student the key to his personal happiness and fulfillment in this life and the next step of his life.
Oak International is a network of boarding schools (academies) with almost 50 years of experience implementing the Integral Formation model developed by the Regnum Christi movement.
Each academy collaborates with the parents in the integral formation of their children, in accordance with the principles and values of the Catholic Church. They operate in a gender differentiated setting (male/female schools), with emphasis on learning a second language and personal enrichment through contact with the local culture.
The academies staff provide personal attention and accompaniment to each student and offer a privileged environment for each student to know himself, and encounter Jesus Christ, and others, which is so critical during the decisive stages of preadolescence, adolescence, and youth.
All aspects of the formative program are oriented to help assist each student forge convictions and to make decisions according to his condition of son of God, and to become able to collaborate as a positive leader in today’s world.
The academies offer a safe, healthy and supervised environment that helps adolescents and young people to forge a full and rich personality. It provides opportunities to acquire greater autonomy, responsibility and self-confidence. It also encourages a renewed appreciation of one’s own family and culture.
The academies have an international community, which provides a unique opportunity for enrichment by fostering openness to other cultures, and the friendships that students form among themselves.
Our students make friendships from all over the world that can last a lifetime as they get to know people from other nationalities.
Spiritual formation is an ongoing process of conversion. The goal of the spiritual formation program is to help all the students develop an authentic spiritual life. Their thoughts and actions are influenced by a Christian view of the human person and of the world.
The Academies implements the Integral Formation® method of education – a proprietary and comprehensive system for developing and operating schools in accordance with the principles of education adopted by the Legionaries of Christ.
Apostolic formation enables the students to go into society to serve as Christian leaders and apostles, actively responding to the needs of the Church and humanity, creating a civilization of justice and love. Through serving others and a vibrant apostolic life, each student discovers Christ, becomes more like Christ and experiences their love more profoundly.
The objective of apostolic formation is to develop in our students the heart of an apostle, a heart sensitive and responsive to the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of others.
