Day Schools
Oak International, looking to provide the best opportunities to satisfy the student’s needs, is proud to introduce the “Day school program”, in which foreign students do a school year in Catholic private schools in the United States, while living with North American families. The studies are certified in the United States and validated by the country of origin.

Hostess families:
Day School is an authentic experience of the North American culture because foreign students, besides practicing English at school and extra-curricular activities, live it in a natural and spontaneous way in the time they share with the hostess family. The periods of leisure, such as weekends and holidays, are privileged moments to share with them. In this way, the student not only learns English, but also receives the cultural richness and the most important traditions that a typical family lives in the United States.

Hostess families are carefully selected according to the profile specified by the natural family. Besides academic and school responsibilities, the student will have responsibilities and house tasks assigned by the hostess family according to the student’s age, as he would have in his own house, as a way to strengthen the habits of responsibility and family cooperation.

Students live ruled by a behavior code in school and with the hostess family, supervised by local coordinators.

Schools:
The schools offered by the Day School program are sponsored by the Legion of Christ, whose mission is to educate the integral man (mind, body, and spirit). At the moment, the following schools are available in this program:
