PET for Schools May (S2) 2014 

The following graph shows the general results of the 34 students that applied for the Preliminary English Test “PET”. It is important to point out that 14.7% of our students received distinguished recognition, which is greater than simply with merit. The total percentage of our students that have successfully passed the test reaches a total of 91.2%.

The following graph shows the areas evaluated and the overall average of satisfaction in each area according to the grades shown: Exceptional, Good, Borderline or Weak. It is important to point out the high percentage of satisfaction that the students obtained in the area of Speaking.

All of the students scored at least a 52%, as can be seen in the following figure. There were 34 students that took the test and their scores were all between 52% and 95%, with a general average of 81% for the whole group.

The following graph shows the general results of the 56 students that applied for the First Certificate in English “FCE”.

The following graph shows the areas evaluated and the overall average of satisfaction in each area according to the grades shown: Exceptional, Good, Borderline or Weak. It is important to point out the high percentage of satisfaction that the students obtained in the area of Speaking.

All of the students scored at least a 56%, as can be seen in the following figure. There were 56 students that took the test and their scores were all between 56% and 90%, with a general average of 74% for the whole group.

We want to give special mention to two of our students who took part in a more advanced test, according to their English skills. They took the CAE, Certificate in Advanced English, where they got a score of 70/100, managing to pass said test that certifies that they have an advanced dominion of the English language. Use of English and Listening were the areas evaluated with a score of exceptional.
