Greetings from Everest International Program! In just two weeks, your son will be arriving here to Clarkston, Michigan to begin his year here. I am confident that this year will be an excellent opportunity for your son to grow in his integral formation and mature through this unique experience.
I write to share with you some changes in the personnel who will be working with your son this year. For personal reasons, I will no longer continue as the director of Everest International Program and will be relocating with my family to San Antonio, Texas. I am grateful for these past five years working at Everest and have had the honor of witnessing firsthand the beauty of the program and the formation we offer our international students. I am also confident that the team that will continue working with the program will assure the same formation will be offered to your son this year.
Deacon Benjamin O’Loughlin has also recently joined the formation team at Everest International Program. Deacon Benjamin has been a Legionary since 2001 and will be ordained a priest this December. He has pastoral experience working in the Everest School in Madrid and the Highlands School in Seville. For the past few years he has been working as an external consultant of the Center for Adolescence and Youth Studies in the University Francisco de Vitoria in Madrid. Deacon Benjamin will be working as the Formation Director for the program. He will be the primary contact regarding your son’s formation during this year. You can contact him at email@example.com or at (248) 804 8353.
Miss Patricia Cantú, current director of Everest International Program for Girls, will assume responsibility for the entire International Program for boys and girls. Over the past years I have had the pleasure of working together with Miss Cantú. She has been at Everest for the past ten years and knows the program well. She has experience working in international language academies in Woodlands Academy and Overbrook Academy. She also worked for several years at the Maddox School and Oxford School in Mexico City. With over 20 years of experience working in educational institutions, Miss Cantú brings experience and wisdom to oversee the International Programs. She will be working closely with Deacon O’Loughlin throughout this year.
In addition, we will have a team of deans and prefects working together in the daily supervision of your son. Andrew Crittenden, Dean of Human Formation, has also recently returned to Everest where he worked as a prefect and an assistant previously. He knows the program well and will be a great addition to the team. He returns to Everest from Oaklawn Academy in Wisconsin.
Your son’s year at Everest is a once in a lifetime experience. Everest International Program is confident that the team of formators this year will assure the best possible formation for your son this year. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions even though Miss Cantu will be sending you the contact information in the next few days so you can reach them as you continue to prepare for your son’s departure. Please note that Mrs. Paula Ireland will continue to assist you as well in all your needs.
