Dear Oak International Team,
Warm greetings to you from Ireland, where I am writing to inform you that, from July 2014, Le Chatelard Academy will have a new Director, namely, Verónica Canales Adame. As you will see from the attached document, Verónica has extensive experience in youth education and also a very good knowledge of Le Châtelard, not just because she was Vice Director during 2013-2014, but also because she herself was a student in Le Chatelard during 1994-1995. For the first time, we now have a former student as Director of Le Châtelard.
In the attached document you will also find a presentation of Luly Fernández González, who will serve as Director of Formation at the Academy. Together with the community of consecrated in Switzerland, Luly will support Veronica in the personal formation of each student. As already mentioned a few days ago, the great success of our schools is a due, in great part, to the wonderful teams of formators that we have been blessed to have.
While we welcome Veronica as Director of the Academy, I want to thank Lourdes Cano for her tireless work during the 4 years she has been at Le Châtelard, initially as Vice Director and the last three years as Director. Lourdes now leaves Oak International Academies to help in the work that Regnum Christi carries out in Paris, France, especially in the area of Family Ministry.
Lourdes, in Oak we are going to miss you... thank you not only for these last 4 years at the Academy, but also as we remember with gratitude, that it was you who founded Le Chatelard in 1992, amid adventures with which you could write a book! What a blessing to have had returned as Director and to see firsthand how the seed that you planted more than 20 years ago has grown.
It is very significant that you now leave the academy in the hands of Verónica, who was your student in 1994 ... in a way, our Lord God has enabled you to see the fruits of your labour from those years.
Let us all keep Lourdes, Verónica and all the team of Le Chatelard in our prayers.
Many thanks and God bless you,
Oak International Academies
