Here is a video that I want to share with all of you of one of the class reunions that we had from March 13-19, 2014. This was the same class that got together last year in Querétaro. This is becoming a tradition, since after this reunion Fr Lorenzo and I flew to Querétaro to meet up with last year’s graduating class.
In these two years the experience with this type of class reunion has been very good. These are alumni reunions, but with all of their families too. The idea is to make it a whole weekend. Activities are organized so that all the young people are together. Not only do the students get to spend time together, but the parents have a wonderful time together as well.
At the first reunion at the ranch 20 of the 33 kids from the class were present, and at the reunion in Querétaro 22 of the 33 were present. At this reunion there were about 75 people in all.
As well, Fr. Lorenzo suggested to Mr. Garza, the father of an alumnus, that his ranch be the site of reunions for other classes. For this reunion he had a dormitory for 30 kids built, and he already had rooms for 20 families, all of them with air conditioning.
With warm regards.
