During the summer of 2013, Everest International Program has made many exciting changes. Beginning with the 2013-2014 academy year, the administration of the Everest International Program for Girls has united with the administration of Everest International Program for Boys to provide greater unity and teamwork between the two programs.
Renovations during the summer also included continued progress on the Grotto to Our Lady. The Grotto is a donation from the general of 2011. The Grotto has been built in the pre-existing gazebo located beside the lake in the backyard of the academy. The statue of Our Lady comes from Rome, Italy. The Grotto is illuminated at night so students are reminded all day and all night that Our Lady is watching over them.
Summer 2013 also brought the largest group of summer campers to Everest Girls Mountaineers Summer Camp in its history with 37 campers. A group of ten alumni served as counselors during the month long camp.
